And to Professor Mark Green, the former Director of the Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC, a legend in oncology whose brilliance shaped the field and whose belief in me shaped my life. He carried a rare gift -the ability to synthesize vast knowledge with humility, clarity, and compassion. He saw potential in people long before they saw it in themselves.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Joseph Sadurski, who first recognized the need for clearer patient education and conceived the idea of Oncology101.org. Through his volunteer work at Self Regional Healthcare, he identified the gap in patient understanding and helped shape this initiative from concept to reality.
